Nepal’s Gold Price Nears Historic Rs 200,000 Mark — Sets New All-Time High

Kathmandu, August 8, 2025 — Nepal’s gold market shattered previous records today, with fine gold prices soaring to Rs 199,400 per tola, up Rs 1,000 from Thursday’s rate of Rs 198,400. The surge leaves the yellow metal just Rs 600 short of the symbolic Rs 200,000 milestone, making it the highest domestic price ever recorded.

Silver followed suit, inching up by Rs 10 per tola to Rs 2,325.
